The Players/Cast of Characters

I'll be using pseudonyms for anyone I talk about. Blogger's About Me feature does not allow me to put a whole lot in it, so I'll break down everyone here:

Norah [aka, Monkey] My sister and best friend! She's been very supportive of my decision to do this. I hope she knows that she will be helping me with child care! She is married to Bob [aka Eeyore] and has two kids:

Oscar. [aka, Goose] My nephew, 12 years old. I can't believe that he's turning into a pre-teen! He is such an old soul and I love him to death.

Mia. [aka, Boo] My niece, 5 years old. Very opinionated and cracks me up every day. My sister has her hands full.

Cori. [aka, Flash] My mentee, 17 years old. She can appear older than her age, but in reality is extremely emotionally immature and has behavioral problems such as being very manipulative and defiant. Has been diagnosed as having ODD, BPD, ADHD and is Bipolar. Right now she is in a group home.

Faith, also 17, is my newest mentee. She is currently at "Boot Academy" for troubled teens. I am only mentoring her short-term, but as with Cori, I'm certain I'll keep in touch.

The cats. I have 3 cats, all adopted:

Charley is a timid and handsome cat, very graceful. Never causes trouble and when he does, he acts very guilty!

Chubbs has a bit of a weight problem and is very sensitive about this. She can no longer sleep on my chest at night b/c I can't breathe. Chubbs & Charley were adopted together.

Jasper [kitten] is my new baby. He is a wild one and growing pretty fast. He has taken a liking to Charley and thinks he is his mother.

Tylenol sadly passed away in 2009. He was a wild one, you'd think he was younger than the others. Always in trouble, but soooo funny. RIP.
