We had fun teasing a teen the other day. We were at a support group and kids were supposed to sit with their family, but his mom worked there so he sat with us (he's friends with my oldest son). We pretended he was now part of our family and started telling him all the rules he would now have to comply with:
Room time at 9pm
No TV or gaming systems in your room
Everything is G or PG (even if you're 17)
No cussing or "naughty words"
You pay for your own cell phone
There were more, but by the time he heard these he'd already decided he was NOT going to be joining our family.

I have been following for a bit, but have not wanted to intrude by requesting an invite to your private blog. Nonetheless, clearly these are challenging times for you so I wanted you to know that you are in my heart and thoughts that whatever the current chaos, confusion or paint, I will be praying for calm, and an occasional bubble of peace to bless you and give you strength for the challenges.
